It was one year ago this week that Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a miscarriage.

These days, Joy-Anna is pregnant with her "rainbow baby," but she still took time out to acknowledge the somber anniversary.

“It’s been a year since we found out that we lost Annabell,” Joy captioned the photo above.

“I remember leaving our ultrasound appointment, sobbing and wondering how we were ever going to move forward and so fearful of having to deliver her," she added

"It hurts to look back at these pictures and remember the pain and heartbreak, but, when I do look back, I am so thankful for how far we’ve come … how God has given us more joy, peace [and] healing than I ever thought we would have again.”

From there, Joy turned her attention to her late child, writing, “We love you, Annabell Elise!”

At one point, Joy feared that she would be forced to go through it all again with her third pregnancy.

She revealed to fans that her doctor informed her she might be dealing with a “molar pregnancy,” a term used to desribe a situaion in which a fertilized egg is not viable.

“Going through all of this again after going through it with Annabell … It’s been a very difficult few weeks,” Joy said of the situation.

“Hopefully, by 10 weeks, we’ll know whether or not this is a viable pregnancy.”

Fortunately, it wasn't long before Joy's husband, Austin Forsyth, informed fans that it looked as though both mother and baby girl were perfectly healthy.

“It’s such a relief,” he stated.

“The last, I don’t know, month? We’ve just been really unsure if it was going to be a viable pregnancy or not," he added.

"It’s just like a huge load lifted off our shoulders knowing that the test came back good.”

Joy's baby is due on August 19.

While we're sure there's still some trepidation as a result of her previous experience, it looks as though everything is as it should be this time.

That means that these days, Joy is seven months pregnant and still chasing her 2-year-old Gideon around the house.

In recent weeks Joy-Anna has been mom-shamed for allowing the boy to drink coffee, among other things.

Obviously, it's always an unpleasant experience being judged by strangers on the internet.

But these days, we doubt the criticism bothers Joy very much.

She's on cloud nine expecting the arrival of another baby girl.
