Travis Scott is trying to take the highest road in the room.
The 28-year-old rapper is dealing with the increased scrutiny and rumor-milling happening in the wake of his split with Kylie Jenner, 22.
Scott took to Instagram to reject rumors circulating online that he’d been involved with a woman named Rojean Kar.
“It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true,” he wrote on his Instagram story Friday.
Kar, who goes by YungSweetRo on Instagram, made her own post addressing the situation Thursday. “None of these rumors are true, it’s just the internet creating a false narrative,” she reportedly wrote on her Instagram Story (her account is private). “Please stop spreading lies & leave him, her & I alone because it’s affecting real lives. Thank you.”
Jenner and Scott “are taking some time but not done,” a source told PEOPLE Tuesday. “They still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles.”
Jenner confirmed the split Thursday, tweeting that she and Scott “are on great terms,” before adding “Our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is [our] priority.”
Jenner later addressed the rumors that she’d linked up with her ex, Tyga, following the split with Scott, tweeting “The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no ‘2am date with Tyga. You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at.”
