Go Away, Megyn Kelly

The Rock's tequila isn't out yet; it will launch next year, but don't fret! If you need your celebrity tequila fix, Nick Jonas and John Varvatos will have you covered. - (Lainey)

If you're more of a gin and Ryan Reynolds fan, plus you like your booze in candy form (hey, that's me!) Sugarfina might be more to your liking. (This code will get you 10% off if you sign up for their rewards program) - (Sugarfina)

Hey, guess what? Cocaine can help keep you from drowning!* (*very specific circumstances.) - (BBC)

Wonder if this bride and groom will frame their wedding photo or their drunken wedding-night brawl with the cops mugshot? Either will make a lovely heirloom to pass down to future generations. - (Dlisted)

Are you sensing a trend here? Yeah, Stupid Watergate might drive me to drink. Thankfully, you all keep adding some funny damn shit in the political posts that help keep us from banging our heads too hard against the nearest solid surface. This one shared by J.S. in the latest Impeachment article saved my sanity today!

Fiona Gallagher wouldn't even recognize Emmy Rossum in this gown. - (GFY)

Tiffany Haddish knows how to make her dates feel special. - (Celebitchy)

Kayleigh shared this in our Slack: "Cinnamon roll of a human being needs help finding celebrated auteur's dog."

Roxana shared this: "Heather's 'Ask Polly' columns are always good, but this one might be of particular interest to many of us: about letting go of craving acceptance from families we can't change." - (The Cut)

Will Smith is releasing a limited edition Bel-Air Academy clothing line and sonofabitch, I want that paisley jacket! I've never stopped wanting that paisley jacket! - (Shadow and Act)

Add this to my list of lamentations of my Trader Joe's-less existence. I don't need these adorable "pumpkin" tree decorations! - (PS)

The ex-cop who murdered Botham Jean was sentenced to 10 years in prison, which doesn't seem nearly enough, but at least she will do actual prison time, unlike all the other police officers who killed POCs and weren't even charged. - (The Root)

Did you know there's a Facebook group for people who sort of look like Adam Sandler but aren't Adam Sandler? - (RMW)

This assmunch was cutting the brake lines on public e-scooters in Florida. Luckily, he was caught on video and charged. Should have been charged with attempted murder, if you ask me, but no one ever does. Probably because I'm not a lawyer. - (Gizmodo)

Why anyone took Megyn Kelly seriously as a "journalist" is one of the world's great mysteries. It's like she didn't even bother reading the article before offering a very bad take (a very bad take echoed by a lot of Republicans today who also didn't want to read the article they were commenting on).

Meanwhile ...

Years before we knew her name, we knew Chanel Miller as "Emily Doe" the victim in the Brock Turner rape case. MrsLangdonAlger found her recently released memoir, Know My Name vital, "it's well-written and lyrical, alternating between brutally poetic descriptions of what it's like to be a survivor, insightful rage about the workings of the "justice" system, and aching hope and care extended to people who have been through what Miller has been through." What memoir has affected you strongly? (Cannonball Read 11)
