David Byrne‘s show “American Utopia” is burning down the house!
At Saturday’s performance, an attendee told us, “We smelled weed in the theater twice.”
Unlike other Broadway shows, audiences are encouraged to get up and dance, while “limited” cell phone use is allowed, and “there was a standing ovation after every single song.”
The show, seen by Elvis Costello and Florence Welch, has extended its run till Feb. 16.
