Jay Cutler still has estranged wife Kristin Cavallari’s back.
The former NFL player, 37, proudly showed off Cavallari’s upcoming cookbook, “True Comfort,” via his Instagram Story on Thursday, captioning it: “Taste tested and approved.”
Since announcing their split this spring, the pair — who are the parents of sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 6, and daughter Saylor, 4 — have been trying hard to play nice, albeit with a few mishaps along the way.
Cavallari, 33, failed to mention her ex on Father’s Day, instead just focusing on her father, Dennis Cavallari. Fans were quick to point out the omission with one writing, “Low blow at Jay.”
The following day the “Laguna Beach” alum rectified the slight.
“Saved the best for last….happy (late) Father’s Day to Jay,” she wrote via Instagram on June 22, alongside a throwback pic of the three kids sitting on the sidelines of a football field.
“We had a beautiful day together yesterday at my new house. Modern family? Co-parenting? Whatever you want to call it, we are navigating it the best way we know how,” she wrote, adding that her kids are “lucky” to have Cutler as their dad and “hopefully they all 3 get a smidge of that heart of gold.”
In late April the couple announced their split via Instagram, with both writing, “With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce.
“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”
Page Six exclusively reported that their split partly happened because Cavallari was tired of Cutler lying around the house and found him “unmotivated” and “lazy.”
