Ed Sheeran’s tattoo artist admits the pop star’s ink is ‘s–t’

Ed Sheeran‘s tattoo artist has admitted that the pop star’s body art is “s–t” — and it’s been scaring off his clients.

Kevin Paul, who has inked the “Shape of You” singer more than 40 times, says he agrees with harsh critiques of the child-like images covering the star’s body.

“I take the piss out of Ed all the time, when I’m with him, that they are s–t. They are!” he told the Daily Mirror.

“But every single thing that he’s got is personal to him.”

The Brit artist — who has also tattooed Harry Styles, Cara Delevingne and Rihanna — says that working with Sheeran has been the “best thing to happen to my career and the worst.”

“I was a big massive artist doing 3D-work and winning multi awards. And then all of a sudden you end up doing Pingu the Penguin and f–king gingerbread men on pop stars,” he told the paper.

“Everybody just thought I was s–t, but I’m not.”

He also said some of the smaller ink is done by the pop star’s “manager’s mate,” saying, “I just get blamed for them.”

“But I don’t regret working with them as it’s changed my life and opened amazing doors for me to do great things,” he insisted.
