I think we all know about the actors and actresses that have portrayed different characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, Josh Brolin). What about those actors that just had to get that superhero and comic book adaptation money in any way they could, hopping from one cinematic universe to another?

Josh Brolin
Brolin is the king of getting them superhero dollars, kids. First, he portrayed Jonah Hex in the DC movie of the same name back in 2010. He moved on over to the MCU in 2012 as the young version of K (Tommy Lee Jones).

Yes, Men In Black is a Marvel/Malibu comics movie.

In 2014 Brolin took on the role of Thanos in the MCU when he popped up in Guardian of the Galaxy and continued that performance through 2019's Avengers Endgame. During that time he also portrayed another Marvel character, Cable, in 2018's Deadpool 2.

Michael Keaton
Warner Bros. was fortunate to have Keaton star in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman, setting the standard for the portrayal of the Dark Knight. He did his two stints as Batman before moving over to the MCU as Adrian Toomes/Vulture in 2017's Spiderman: Homecoming. Yet again, Keaton brought a new edge to the recognizable mold of Marvel villains by not only surviving the movie but receiving a backstory shared completely with audiences.

Chris Evans
Everyone knows Evans was Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four movies of the mid-2000s before stepping into the spangly boots of Captain America in 2011. Many people remember his role in the 2010 movie The Losers but might not realize that the Vertigo comic it is based on is DC-owned, making Evans a swinger too.

Zoe Saldana
Saldana co-starred with Evans in The Losers before portraying Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy for the MCU. Another actor from The Losers that moved into the MCU?

Idris Elba
Yup. Elba was Roque in The Losers before thoroughly nailing the role of Heimdall in the Thor movies.

Zachary Levi
Some may forget that Levi was the second Fandral in the Thor movies after Josh Dallas left the role. Fandral got dead in 2017's Thor Ragnarok and Levi decided to slide over to DC as Shazam in 2019. He's a great fit for the DC role, what with having an actual story and the spotlight.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje
It seems that Thor: The Dark World gets very little love from Marvel fans due to it being confusing as all hell until you've seen the rest of the films through Avengers Endgame. Akinnuoye-Agbaje's role as Kurse gets lost in the discussions about villains in the MCU. Perhaps that's for the best as Kurse is a one-note villain, especially compared to Akinnuoye-Agbaje's much larger role as Killer Croc on DC's Suicide Squad.

Ben Affleck
Never forget Daredevil, kids. NEVER. While you're at it, never forget Affleck's actually quite good as Batman but not great as Bruce Wayne. Fingers crossed he stops dipping his Phoenix-covered back into comic book movies only to quit mid-stream or sh*t all over them once he's out.

Ryan Reynolds
Huh. I really don't know why Reynolds is one here, as he is only Deadpool for Marvel. Only. Deadpool.
