Next week, on February 22nd to be exact, developer BioWare will be releasing their new sci-fi video game Anthem, an online multi-player, role-playing game wherein players will assume the role of a Freelancer, one of a group of people who leave their civilization to explore the surrounding landscape. Ahead of the game’s release, we’re getting a live-action short film.

Best of all, the short was directed by District 9 filmmaker Neill Blomkamp!

Set in the rich world of BioWare’s Anthem, Blomkamp’s Conviction: An Anthem Story will be arriving this Thursday, February 14th, and you can check out a brief teaser below.
