[Video] Behind the Scenes Footage Shows Off the Practical Monster from ‘Slaughterhouse Rulez’
We still don’t have U.S. release information for director Crispian Mills’ Slaughterhouse Rulez, the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost-starring monster comedy that was released in the United Kingdom this past Halloween. As we recently told you, it’s next headed to U.K. Blu-ray on March 11th, so if you want to see it, you might want to get a Region Free player.
Meantime, Millennium FX Ltd. just shared some awesome behind the scenes footage from the film, giving us a great look at the practical monsters they created. They’ve dubbed this particular one “Big daddy beastie,” one of several “sublime subterranean creatures.”
In Slaughterhouse Rulez…
“Welcome to Slaughterhouse, an elite boarding school where boys and girls are groomed for power and greatness…and they’re about to meet their match. This ancient and ordered world is about to be shaken to its foundations – literally – when a controversial frack site on prized school woodland causes seismic tremors, a mysterious sinkhole, and an unspeakable horror to be unleashed. Soon a new pecking order will be established as the pupils and teachers alike become locked in a bloody battle for survival…”
As soon as we hear of a U.S. date for this one, we’ll let you know.
