So Bill Cosby Is Having An “Amazing Experience” In Prison, According To His Lawyer
His Right-Hand Aide Describes The Comedian’s Experience
Apparently, Bill Cosby, the man who’s been accused of over 50 sexual assaults and was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand, is having a grand ol’ time in prison.
Cosby’s lawyer and longtime aide Andrew Wyatt detailed his experience in a talk with Philadelphia’s WCAU-TV. He said that Cosby’s spirits remain high and the comedian likes to talk to other inmates and encourage them.
“Despite the circumstances, he said, ‘This is an amazing experience,’” Wyatt said.
Cosby is currently serving up to ten years in maximum security at SCI-Phoenix outside of Philly. According to Wyatt, Cosby has been preparing for time behind bars even before he was convicted.
“Mr. Cosby had prepared himself… He’s mentally strong. He’s just a strong man,” Wyatt said.
Cosby has also lost weight and is cutting out bread and coffee from his diet.
“What’s funny about that — Mrs. Cosby has been trying to stop him from drinking coffee for 55 years and he said it took this to stop him from drinking coffee,” Wyatt said.
Wyatt is the only confidante that Cosby lets visit him in prison since he doesn’t want his wife and children to see him there. The 81-year-old maintains his innocence even after he was convicted for assaulting Andrea Constand back in 2004.
“When I visit him, it’s nothing sad about it,” Wyatt said. “He’s not sad. He’s not remorseful because he did nothing wrong.”
