One of the most anticipated films of 2019 for horror fans and especially ’90s fanatics is Paramount’s Are You Afraid of the Dark?, a feature film adaptation of Nickelodeon’s teen-friendly ’90s television series in which a group of kids get together in the woods to tell ghost stories. The film, directed by D.J. Caruso, is set to arrive in theaters on October 4, 2019.

And guess what? Also this year, Nickelodeon is relaunching the TV series!!

Described as a brand new mini-series, “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” follow new members of the Midnight Society as they gather around a campfire in the woods to share scary stories.

All we know for now is that the mini-series will coincide with the release of the film.
