‘Monster Hunter: World’ Tops 11 Million in Sales

We’ve talked before about the success of Monster Hunter World, and now Capcom has revealed that the award-winning RPG has reached a rather lofty milestone.

According to Capcom’s 3rd Quarter Report, the title’s worldwide shipments and digial download sales now top 11 million, due in part to the game’s performance on Steam. As far as the brand goes, with the upcoming Paul WS Anderson adaptation starring Milla Jovovich, and the upcoming Iceborne expansion with collaboration from The Witcher 3 due this summer, the series is in good standing.

4th quarter forecasts are hinging on Monster Hunter World to continue to perform well, as well as the success of everyone’s favorite game at the moment in Resident Evil 2, and the upcoming Devil May Cry 5. Which, let be honest: It’s a no-brainer as to how this will turn out.

Monster Hunter World was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on January 26, 2018, followed by PC on August 3, 2018.
