Despite its flaws (and the weird ASMR videos), THQ Nordic’s return to the Darksiders franchise in Darksiders III has been a success.

In their latest financial report, THQ Nordic revealed that that Darksiders III ended up performing “within expectations”, driving increased net sales for their Vienna based business area. It has, in fact, managed to sell well enough to recoup all investments that were made for its development and marketing.

As well, the report lists the series as a “key IP” for THQ Nordic, and with the DLCs coming later this year, it definitely seems that they’re standing by the title.

Meanwhile, the previously-announced port of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition for the Nintendo Switch will arrive for the console on April 2nd.
