‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ Returning to Theaters for 35th Anniversary TONIGHT Only!
We still haven’t heard a peep about any progress being made on a new Nightmare on Elm Street movie, but we wanted to remind you that Wes Craven’s original classic is being brought back to theaters tonight, February 12th at 7:30pm EST, for a one-night-only big screen revival. The film will be playing in select Regal theaters for its 35th anniversary.
To find locations and grab tickets, head over to Regal’s website.
On the subject of a new movie, the last we heard (late last year) is that New Line is focusing on their Conjuring Universe right now, but they still have plans on eventually bringing Freddy Krueger back to life. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2, Aquaman) had been hired to write a script a while back, but the project doesn’t seem to have gotten past that point.
It’s only a matter of time, we’re thinking…
