Kathie Lee Gifford’s doing just fine in her new hometown.
The former “Today” host, who’s been spending a lot of time in Nashville, Tenn., since she quit the show — was given a lifetime achievement award by the Nashville Pops Orchestra over the weekend.
At a gala presentation at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, they noted her “voluminous accomplishments with focus on the difference she has made in the lives of others and making the world a better place.”
It cited her work in music, movies and contributions to kids organizations including Childhelp and the Association to Benefit Children, which produced Cassidy’s Place and Cody House, named after her two children.
