Jane Fonda has a sunny attitude about her recent time in jail after being arrested four times at climate protests in the past month.
At a live recording of the Harper’s Bazaar podcast “Dare I Say” at L’Avenue at Saks, Fonda said that the current environmental situation could make the planet nearly uninhabitable. “Well, not for cockroaches — I saw a lot of those in jail,” she quipped.
Glenda Bailey introduced Fonda, who was joined by Peggy Shepard of We Act for Environmental Justice.
