Bono was back on Broadway after his megabudget experiment, “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” from years ago — but this time safely in the audience.

The U2 rocker saw “West Side Story” with wife Ali Hewson, and they sent cases of champagne and Guinness to the cast backstage — complete with a recipe card on how to mix a Black Velvet cocktail, we hear.

Apparently the mixture of stout and bubbly has now become “an instant hit with everyone in the cast,” a source said.

“Everyone, that is, besides Matthew Johnson, who plays Baby John … He’s only 19. Management said he can try one himself in two years.”
