“Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron is speaking out for the first time on the untimely death of his mother Andrea Cameron.
“Today heaven gained an angel. We will love and miss our mother dearly,” Cameron wrote on Instagram. “She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on. While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support.”
Fellow “Bachelor” franchise alums sent their messages of support: Jade Liz Roper commented, “I am so deeply sorry, Tyler,” while Kristina Schulman wrote, “Keeping you and your family in our thoughts.”
Current ‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber — who appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ alongside Tyler — also weighed in, writing “Sending your family all my love and prayers.”
Andrea passed away after being hospitalized on Thursday. The cause of her death is unknown.
Tyler first shared that he had a “family emergency” on Thursday afternoon when he was forced to cancel an appearance on “Good Morning America.”
He tweeted, “Have to cancel GMA group run tomorrow. Family emergency. Please pray for my mom and my family.”
