The 38-year-old television personality became a household name after starring in TLC’s hit show Toddlers in Tiaras with her youngest daughter, 12-year-old Alana, or, Honey Boo Boo, as she is more commonly known.

Off the back of their appearances on the reality show, Mama June and Honey Boo Boo landed their own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Despite harsh reviews, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo gained a following of loyal fans who have stood by Mama June and her daughters, even after the show was canceled in 2014 after it was alleged that Mama June was dating a registered sex offender – a claim she has vehemently denied.

Despite the scandal, Mama June has continued to stay relevant in popular culture with her inspiring weight loss journey. After learning of her husband’s infidelity, Mama June embarked upon a mission to reinvent herself using a combination of weight loss and plastic surgeries.

The Georgia native also enlisted the help of a personal trainer to help her reduce her size and stop her from binging on ice-cream and candy.

Now, having lost 300lbs, Mama June, whose real name is June Shannon, is ready to strut her stuff on the catwalk as a beauty pageant queen. In her new reality show, Mama June: From Not To Hot, the controversial reality star sets her sights on a glittering pageant tiara.

Enlisting the help of her 12-year-old daughter, Honey Boo Boo, a former pageant participant, Mama June gets to work perfecting her walk, smile and pose. After all, it takes a lot more than plastic surgery to win a beauty pageant!

“You thought Coach Mama June was rough? Wait til you meet Coach Alana,” the 12-year-old proudly tells the cameras with a mischevious grin.

“I’ve been always on the other side of the pageant world, I don’t have any talent,” Mama June said as Honey Boo Boo trains her how to twirl a ribbon. As Mama June leaps through the air, Honey puts her through her paces.

The show follows Mama June as she embarks on a mission to become a beauty pageant queen. She has her sights set high after gaining so much confidence from her weight loss, so it’s certainly going to be an interesting journey!

It is not only a tiara that the matriarch is hoping to take home, she’s also hoping to bag a man. Newly single and looking for love, Mama June is ready to forget about her ex-husband, Sugar Bear, who has since remarried.
