The Bachelorette Stunner: No, Clare Crawley Did Not Pout, Whine and Quit!

August 12, 2020

According to a brand new and mostly reliable report, Clare Crawley is NOT a quitter.

She's not a spoiled brat or a nuisance on set or someone that flat-out refused to continue filming her upcoming season of The Bachelorette, either.

By now, we've all ready The Bachelorette spoilers, right?

We've seen all the allegations about Crawley arriving at a resort in California... and almost instantly falling in love with suitor Dale Moss... who she may have started talking to before production started...

... and that the pair are even engaged?

To be clear, all of these developments may still have happened. These claims may be accurate.

Dale Moss, Clare Crawley split

However, there's one key component of this unprecedented, upcoming Bachelorette season that may have been falsely reported.

Along with all the stories about Crawley becoming immensely smitten with Moss, multiple outlets have written over the past few weeks that Clare simply refused to continue filming about two weeks after arriving on set.

She had her heart set on Dale, this articles stated, and she wouldn't even leave her room to shoot scenes with anyone else.

What was the point, the logic went, if she already knew who she wanted to marry?

This was allegedly the reason why Crawley had to be removed as The Bachelorette and Tayshia Adams installed in her place.

According to Bachelor Nation guru, Reality Steve, however, Clare never made any demands of executives.

She never complained and she certainly never locked herself in her room and neverr told producers to shove it because she had chosen her potential husband and was done with the whole process.

This is all nonsense, Reality Steve says.

Because this man seems to always know all about the behind-the-scenes happenings within this franchise, we'll just let Steve take it away... from his latest column:

What I’ve been told is that this narrative of Clare being difficult, production not knowing what to do, Clare having a pre-show relationship–are not true whatsoever...

He continued of Moss:

From the beginning, basically no one else stood a chance.

So, how did all of this play out? More from Steve:

It was once producers noticed Clare and Dale’s chemistry that they realized they had a problem on their hands, and in probably the biggest difference I’ve heard from what the media is reporting is that it was production’s idea to go to Clare with a suggestion of, ‘Well, what do you want to do here?

It’s clear you’re into him and no one else kinda thing.

And that’s where production had to think on the fly about what to do next and eventually settled on bringing in Tayshia as the Bachelorette.

There we have it then.

We can maybe stop slamming Crawley as any kind of prima donna and start asking other questions related to The Bachelorette Season 16 instead.

Namely:

Are THREE women now gonna headline the show this fall? What the heck is actually going on?!?
