ABC will pay tribute to actor Chadwick Boseman with a commercial-free broadcast of “Black Panther” and special on his life following his death from colon cancer, according to a report.
The Marvel Studios hit — which starred Boseman as King T’Challa — will air without interruption at 8 p.m. Sunday then will be followed by “Chadwick Boseman — A Tribute for a King,” Variety reported.
The special — which features remembrances from celebrities, political figures and fans — will “celebrate Boseman’s storied life, legacy and career, and the cultural imprint he made on- and off-screen,” ABC said.
The tribute comes after the 43-year-old died Friday after privately battling cancer since 2016.
