With Tesla driving headlines regularly, it’s no surprise that a Hamptons screening of IFC Films’ upcoming “Tesla,” about visionary Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla, drew a starry crowd.
Donna Karan and the Cinema Society’s Andrew Saffir hosted a socially distant dinner and screening under the stars at Karan’s luxe seaside sanctuary.
Among the cineastes who came along for the ride were the film’s co-star Kyle MacLachlan (who plays Tesla rival Thomas Edison), along with Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee-Furness, Candice Bergen, Edie Falco, Katie Couric, Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Esposito and Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s glamorous mother, Maye Musk.
The film opens Friday.
