Oprah Winfrey wears $3K ice sleeve after taking fall on stage

You can’t keep a good woman down — but gravity can.

After taking an on-stage tumble on Leap Day, Oprah Winfrey told fans on Sunday that she’s doing well and “only a little sore,” while also lamenting her meme-worthy move.

“Sunday reading and icing. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Yes I slipped on stage and I’m now a meme,” wrote Winfrey, 66, on Instagram. “But so grateful to be only a little sore. Turning the day into what @michelleobama calls #selfcareSunday.”

She sent thanks to her 18 million Insta followers alongside a snap of her looking relaxed in tan sweats, with her leg propped up and wearing a Game Ready knee sleeve. The $400 to $3,000 treatment touted by top athletes combines ice therapy with compression therapy

Ironically, the media mogul had been talking about balance when she tripped on Saturday during the Los Angeles stop of her Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life on Focus Tour.

Friend and actress Rita Wilson joked in the comments: “It was so crazy when that happened because you were talking about balance. ‘Jesus, you funny!’ ”

Backstage during Saturday’s event, Gayle King asked Winfrey is she was embarrassed by the fall, or if she thought she’d “just roll with it.”

She told her best friend, “I didn’t think (it was) embarrassing, I just thought, ‘OK, I fell. Everybody knows what falling is.’

“You would prefer not to fall, but now I’ve fallen. My thing was, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up,” she joked, in reference to the long-running Life Alert commercial tagline.

In another video update for social media, Winfrey said the stop on her tour was “a great day, despite the fall, which now becomes a meme, I know.”

“But I picked myself up,” she continued. “I don’t know if it was something on the floor, or my foot twisted…. I had the indication I was going to fall before, and it just is what it is. It was a great day.”

Winfrey also took time to sit with the “astoundingly age-defiant” Jennifer Lopez, she wrote on Instagram, who gives “new meaning to the word 50.”

During their live talk, Lopez finally addressed criticism that the “Hustlers” star had been snubbed at the Oscars.

“I was a little sad because there was a lot of buildup to it,” she told Winfrey. “I felt like I let everyone down a little bit.”
