Adele credits Glennon Doyle’s self-help book ‘Untamed’ with changing her life
Adele is all about the power of the pages.
On Friday, the 32-year-old singer — whose weight-loss transformation has been on display in recent months — revealed how Glennon Doyle’s “Untamed,” changed her mindset for the better.
“If you’re ready – this book will shake your brain and make your soul scream,” Adele told her 38.5 million Instagram followers. “I am so ready for myself after reading this book! It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time. Whew!”
The Grammy winner added, “Anyone who has any kind of capacity to truly let go and give into yourself with any kind of desire to hold on for dear life – Do it. Read it. Live it. Practice it. We are a lot! But we are meant to be a lot! .. ‘A good life is a hard life!'”
Adele also advised fans to “have a highlighter on hand” while browsing through Doyle’s text in order “to make notes because you’ll want to refer back to it trust me!”
“I never knew that I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom!! Who knew our own liberation liberates those around us? Cause I didn’t!! I thought we were meant to be stressed and disheveled, confused and selfless like a Disney character! ProBloodyFound!! You’re an absolute don Glennon,” she concluded.
This past summer, Adele has continued to stun fans with her incredibly shrinking figure, even modeling her Chloé dress from Glastonbury 2016.
Adele, who reportedly has a net worth of $190 million, has worked with a personal trainer and is said to have used the sirtfood diet as part of her weight loss journey. The program focuses on foods — including chocolate, walnuts, and red wine — that regulate a person’s metabolism.
Adele isn’t the only Hollywood star who has put her slim-down on display. On Saturday, “Pitch Perfect’s” Rebel Wilson stunned in a yellow dress as her “year of health” program continues.
