It's a hookup eleven years in the making!

Pauly D and Jenni Farley began flirting with one another in the very first episode of Jersey Shore way back in 2009.

But for most of the years that followed, Jenni was either married or in a relationship, while Pauly was preoccupied with his quest to "get it in" with half the female population of planet Earth.

However, these days, Farley is divorced from Roger Mathews, and her relationship with Zack "24" Carpinello has been on and off for months.

That means a window of opportunity has finally presented itself, and it seems Jenni and Pauly D are planning to take full advantage.

Yes, a preview for the upcoming episodes of Shore promises a moment that fans have been waiting for since the early days of the Obama administration.

“I’m officially divorced,” Jenni says, as she celebrates the end of her marriage in the promo.

“When I got that green light … me and Jenni, we are going to hook up,”

“I know he has feelings for you," Snooki assured JWoww, presumably in reference to Pauly D.

And folks, then it happens.

Pauly and Jenni prepare to smoosh, apparently unconcerned with the fact that Snooki is sleeping in the same bed, just inches away.

The clip ends just as their lips are about to make contact, so we can't confirm that they actually hook up, but it seems pretty obvious that a makeout session ensues.

As for how far these two go -- well, we guess we'll just have to continue watching the current season of Shore to find out.

But no matter what happens, it's sure to be more interesting than Vinny and Angelina wrestling on a bed for an hour.

Elsewhere in the trailer, we see glimpses of what's in store in the weeks to come.

The crew has a lot to be excited about, what with Mike Sorrentino's release from prison, and all.

But there's also some major discord in their future, thanks largely to the now-infamous roast at Angelina Pivarnick's wedding.

In case you haven't heard, the ladies of Shore thought it would be funny to hurl insults at Angelina in front of her family and friends.

Needless to say, it didn't go well.

The bride ran from the room, and her co-stars were booed for their cruel comments.

But hey, at least the season wasn't all bad for JWoww.

Although she may have some explaining to do, as we're guessing 24 won't be a fan of her hookup scene with Pauly.
