Kamala Harris Gets Clowned

Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea for Kamala Harris to go on the Breakfast Club and try to appeal to the youths of America if she wasn’t ready for it. She fielded questions about everything from the serious to the goofy. One such question was about her smoking weed before and she admitted to it. Great. End it right there. But Envy and Charlemagne wouldn’t leave it at that, so they asked what she would listen to when she smoked and she said “Tupac and Snoop.”

The problem? She graduated from college in 1986 and Tupac and Snoop didn’t drop albums until 1991 and 1993. Whoops!

There’s some belief that Harris was simply answering a question about what music she listens to in general, but the follow-up question about what she listens to now and she said Cardi B. So it seems as though, yes, she was originally referring to music she listened to when high.

I feel like the music of your college years is soooo deeply interwoven into your college memories that you don't make a mistake like Kamala did unless you're lying. I mean I don't really give a shit if she's lying. But she is. Why are you lying to us Kamala

Look, there are a lot of real reasons to interrogate Harris’ decisions and policies. This isn’t one of them. But it is hilarious as hell. So let’s enjoy the jokes!
