Drake Announces So Far Gone On Streaming Services Tomorrow

A few months ago Kanye West spilled Drake’s beans when he took to Twitter to reveal that Drake had requested a sample clearance. Astute owl fans took notice that the 10th anniversary of Drake’s life-changing mixtape So Far Gone was fast approaching. The project was first released on February 13, 2009.

Welp, it turns out that those fans were 100% correct. Tomorrow, Aubrey will be uploading the tape to streaming services in its original form for the very first time (a condensed version was released as an EP once “Best I Ever Had” blew up). Drake was indeed seeking Kanye’s approval to put fan favorite freestyle “Say What’s Real” on the project. As you know, the song uses the beat from Kanye’s 808s and Heartbreak hit “Say You Will”. At the time of the tweets, Kanye shut down the idea.

The two rappers have clearly had a very public falling out over the last year, but from the looks of Aubrey’s recent Instagram caption, they might have found a way to patch things up.
