Two years before George Romero’s Monkey Shines came the Richard Franklin-directed Link, currently out of print on DVD but soon returning to DVD and finally coming to Blu-ray!

Kino Lorber Studio Classics announced today that they’re bringing Link to both DVD and Blu-ray, but they haven’t yet shared any details or release date information.

Elisabeth Shue and Terence Stamp starred in the film, which featured cinematography by Mike Molloy and music by Jerry Goldsmith.

In Link, “When Jane Chase, a young zoology student, is invited to assist anthropologist Steven Phillips with his experiments involving chimpanzees, mysterious events occur that all center around Phillip’s super intelligent simian servant, Link.”
