Japanese Bonus Content for ‘NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition’ Revealed
Square Enix announced last month that their surprise hit action-RPG NieR: Automata would be getting a game of the year edition this year, and have followed through with pictures of what you’ll get in the Japanese version of the game.
NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition is set for release on PlayStation 4 and PC worldwide on February 26, but Japan will actually get their version a few days earlier on February 21. The GOTY version of the game will include all previous DLC, as well as new skins and accessories.
There are also platform-specific goodies. For PS4 owners, you get two bonus skins for Pod, as well as a Dynamic Theme and 15 PlayStation Network avatars. As for PC owners, you get a bonus accessory, as well as two wallpapers.
Japan PlayStation 4 owners will also receive reversible cover art and stickers (thanks, Gematsu!). No word on if those goodies will be making their way over here.
In NieR: Automata, the story revolves around a proxy war between the human-made androids known as the YoRHa, and the machine army of invaders from another world. The game is split into three chapters, each with their own endings, with each played with a different character.
