Full, Uncut Interviews from “Eli Roth’s History of Horror” Being Released in the Form of a Shudder Podcast
One of last year’s big treats for horror fans was “Eli Roth’s History of Horror,“ a seven-part documentary series that aired on AMC. Each episode covered a different sub-genre of horror, ranging from supernatural entities to slasher maniacs, featuring interviews with many of the top names in horror. As of today, the full series is now streaming on Shudder!
Additionally, Shudder announced today that the complete interviews Roth conducted for the documentary series, which we haven’t yet heard, will be released as part of Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut, a new podcast that’ll serve as a companion to the series.
Over the course of twelve episodes, Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut will offer listeners hours of never-before-heard, candid conversations between Roth and Stephen King, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Diablo Cody, Bryan Fuller, Catherine Hardwicke, Victor LaValle, Tippi Hedren, Bruce Campbell, Josh Hartnett, Greg Nicotero and Rob Zombie.
All episodes of the podcast will be made available on Shudder on Friday, February 22, exclusively for its members. Episode 1, featuring Roth’s complete conversation with Stephen King, will be made available the same day to non-members on Apple Podcasts and other platforms, where subsequent episodes will be released twice-weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
