Art the Clown Will Return in ‘Terrifier 2,’ Which Has a Completed Screenplay!
Back in 2013, Damian Leone introduced the world to Art the Clown in the film All Hallows’ Eve, and the character was subsequently given his own spinoff in the gory Terrifier. In the film, a maniacal clown (Art) terrorizes three young women on Halloween night and everyone else who stands in his way, and it earned rave reviews from gore-hounds in particular.
In a Facebook post this week, Leone has spilled the beans that his script for Terrifier 2 has been completed, which means that Art will soon be back for more bloody mayhem!
Leone teases, “For everyone who’s anxiously awaiting news regarding a Terrifier sequel, I can finally tell you that I’ve completed the screenplay and it is &%$#!*@ INSANE! Unfortunately, this is the only confirmation I can give right now but rest assured we’re working to bring you Terrifier 2 as soon as possible and we’re very excited to show you where Art’s diabolical journey goes from here! He’s back and he’s badder than ever!”
Actor David H. Thornton (Art) also chimed in, tweeting last night: “Just so you all know! I’ve had a chance to read it, and boy oh boy are you all in for a treat…and many tricks!”
