Who is Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s girlfriend? Meet Olivia Holzmacher

November 01, 2020

Olivia Holzmacher is savoring every moment of boyfriend Joe Burrow’s rookie NFL season.

To kick off the 2020 season in September, Holzmacher celebrated the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback’s big debut — even if she couldn’t attend the game in person.

“If a fan cheers in a crowd and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” Holzmacher captioned an Instagram post of her cardboard cutout.

An Ohio State alum, Holzmacher has been supporting 23-year-old Burrow long before he was selected first overall by the Bengals in this year’s draft.

Take a look at her most supportive moments:

She celebrated his Heisman Trophy win

In December 2019, Burrow was awarded the Heisman Trophy, defeating quarterbacks Justin Fields and Jalen Hurts, and defensive end Chase Young.

“I’m so thankful to have played for two of the best programs in the country,” Burrow said at the time. “I wouldn’t have traded my journey for anything.”

Burrow, an Iowa native, had transferred to LSU from Ohio State in 2018.

Following Burrow’s win, Holzmacher — who has been linked to the quarterback since 2017 — posted a cute mirror selfie of the pair, calling the moment, “The best weekend ever!”

“I’m so proud of you,” she gushed.

She cheered on Burrow as LSU claimed a national title

A month later, Holzmacher supported Burrow as he and the LSU Tigers defeated Clemson in the national championship game, 42-25.

“Stay focused 9,” Holzmacher wrote, she posted to her Instagram story at the time.

Burrow completed 31 of 49 passes for 463 yards and five touchdowns.

She welcomed Burrow to the NFL with a touching tribute

This spring, the Bengals named Burrow the first overall pick in the draft, ushering in a new era in Cincinnati. In the hours leading up to the draft, Holzmacher posted a sweet message to her beau as he readied for the next phase of his career.

“Tonight a new chapter starts for you! Thankful to be by your side joe and to be a part of the the past three seasons. I’ve had the best experiences and met the best people along the way. So excited for what the future holds. Tonight will be once in a lifetime night for you,” she captioned the Instagram tribute.

Burrow signed a four-year, $36.1 million contract with the Bengals in July.

She’s taken her game-day support for Burrow on the road

In October, Holzmacher traveled to Indianapolis, when the Bengals battled the Colts in Week 6. Although the Bengals lost 31-27, dropping to 1-4-1 on the season, Holzmacher enjoyed the change of scenery.

“Open the moon roof kinda day,” she posted to her Instagram story from Lucas Oil Stadium.
