Police arrive at Rita Ora’s birthday party for allegedly breaking lockdown rules

November 30, 2020

Rita Ora’s birthday party ended with a bang when police arrived to break up the scene.

Ora, who was celebrating her 30th birthday, allegedly broke lockdown rules by hosting a secret party Saturday night at a West London restaurant with more than 30 people, The Sun reported. Attendees at the Casa Cruz bash included models Cara and Poppy Delevingne.

Nicholas Fallows, who is listed as owner of Casa Cruz restaurant, told the British tabloid that it was the first he’d heard of the party, as the spot is “owned by shareholders.”

A spokesperson for Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that everyone, “including celebrities,” needed to follow the new lockdown rules to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The spokesperson also stressed that “it’s up to police to decide what action to take” if the rules are broken.

The “Your Song” singer hasn’t publicly commented on the birthday scandal.

A rep for Ora didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
