Larry King feeling better after spending 87th birthday in the hospital

November 28, 2020

We’re going to have to start calling him Larr-zarus.

Page Six is told that Larry King — who proudly told us last year that he’s survived every major disease — has bounced back once again.

We reported earlier this week that the legendary broadcaster spent his 87th birthday in a hospital with a blood-flow issue. But insiders tell us that he’s feeling better and was expected to be released Friday (though, in the end, docs decided to keep him one or two more nights to make sure his progress continues).

In November 2019, King told us that that March he’d “had what they call a slight stroke.” “They thought I was going to die,” he said, “it was really touch-and-go.”

Meanwhile, over the summer King suffered a terrible tragedy when two of his children died within weeks of each other. His son, Andy, passed suddenly in late July, and his daughter, Chaia, died weeks later after battling a chronic illness. Chaia was 51 and Andy was 65. He has three other children.
