“RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Shangela isn’t focused on material things this holiday season.
The drag queen, whose real name Darius Pierce, is looking for an end to the coronavirus pandemic — and a significant other.
When asked what he’d like for the holidays, Pierce told Page Six Style, “Well, besides a husband … I would love to get a safe and effective cure for COVID, so that I can share it with the world and we can resume life together as it was and will be.”
In the same vein, the “A Star Is Born” actor, 39, is filling everyone’s stocking with his own Shangela hand sanitizer ($27 for a tri-pack). “My Shanitizer is not just any sanitizer — it comes with three different scents, Hallelemon, ProFRESHional and Sugar Daddy,” he said. “It makes reapplying sanitizer, whether it is to surfaces or your hands, enjoyable, and is the perfect size for any stocking!”
A perfect last-minute gift Shangela’s friends can expect is a gift card to Apple Music, where they can download his favorite albums from Meghan Trainor, Megan Thee Stallion, Kylie Minogue and Little Mix.
As for his loved ones, Pierce said he’s gifting his mom a new three-piece living room set where all of the chairs recline 180 degrees horizontal and even have a massage feature.
“I don’t think she will ever get off the couch ever again!” he said.
It’s sure to be a very pandemic-friendly holiday in the Pierce household.
