Cue “We are the Champions!”
Kaitlyn Bristowe and pro partner Artem Chigvintsev were crowned the Season 29 winners of “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday night, defeating “Catfish” host Nev Schulman, rapper Nelly and actress Justina Machado in the finals.
“I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Bristowe told “Entertainment Tonight.” “But to me it’s like, if you believe in something and if you have a passion or a dream … when you think of anyone who’s gotten somewhere, I guarantee they have a story about what it took to get there.”
The former “Bachelorette” star, 35, nabbed a perfect score of 30 for both of her performances on Monday night, including her final freestyle dance to “Sparkling Diamonds” from 2001’s “Moulin Rouge.”
Bristowe’s boyfriend, fellow “Bachelorette” alum Jason Tartick, also celebrated her win on social media.
“What a legend! @kaitlynbristowe,” the 32-year-old gushed on Instagram.
Following her win, Bristowe also congratulated runner-up Schulman, 36, who also earned two perfect scores Monday night.
“It’s the humor for me. Thought I was being catfished when I won tonight. Nev you’re a beautiful dancer and I hate you. Xoxoxo @nevschulman #DWTS,” she wrote on Instagram.
Bristowe is the second “Bachelorette” to hoist the mirror ball trophy on “Dancing with the Stars,” following in Hannah Brown’s footsteps last year.
The “Off The Vine” podcast host first appeared on Season 19 of “The Bachelor” with Chris Soules in 2015 and was later named “The Bachelorette” of Season 11 that same year.
