It may be snowy in Utah, but Jen Shah will be bringing the heat to “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
“I think people would probably say I bring the most drama, but it’s really, I’m just reacting how I normally would,” the 46-year-old recently told Page Six. “I wasn’t talking to people behind the scenes when we were filming, so when something would happen, it literally was as if it was just happening … Yeah, I’m going to get pissed and throw glass. Like, that’s normally how I would react. Either I’m throwing my cell phone or a glass, one of them, whatever is in the closest range to me at that time!”
The marketing maven was quick to point out that some of her costars’ behavior may not be as over-the-top as hers, even if they think they’re on a soap opera.
“There’s other girls, I think on the on the show that are reacting because they think they’re like on ‘Young and the Restless,'” she quipped. “Like, honey, you ain’t an actress and this ain’t ‘Young and the Restless,’ so.”
As for who’s on her good side and who’s on her bad side — the answer may not be surprising to fans either.
“I am closest to Lisa [Barlow],” she said. “I call her Li-li. That’s her nickname. And least closest to would be, I’m sure this is not going to be a huge surprise if you’ve seen the trailers, Mary M. Cosby.”
For her part, Barlow seems to agree with Shah’s take on the drama, as she told us, “I think some people are just naturally emotional and lead with emotion, so you got their natural, maybe even intensified emotion, but then I think there were some — two in particular — that would like anything for [the] camera.”
“RHOSLC” premieres Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
