Brie, Nikki Bella and their babies had to evacuate due to California fires
Brie Bella and Nikki Bella had to evacuate their new homes in California shortly after they moved in due to the wildfires, they exclusively told Page Six.
“When we moved, literally two days later, we evacuated because of the smoke,” Brie, 36, told us. “The fires weren’t far. They were close, but it wasn’t the flames that we were nervous about. All of a sudden our house got filled with smoke, so we had to go because of the little ones.”
In October, the famous twins, who own their own wine company Belle Radici, confirmed in an episode of “The Bellas Podcast” that they had moved to Napa Valley.
The Glass Fire scorched 67,000 acres of land in northern California, damaging and destroying nearly 30 wineries.
Brie said her husband, Bryan Danielson, was not pleased when they had to evacuate with their 3-year-old daughter, Birdie, and 3-month-old, Buddy.
“My husband looked at me, and he was like, ‘Brie!,’ and I was kind of like, ‘Oh my gosh. Did I make a mistake?'” she said. “Because it did make me nervous with the fires and, unfortunately, I feel like we’re seeing this happen every year.”
She added, “Fire season, we’re expecting a huge fire to come through California, so that definitely freaks us out.”
However, the “Total Bellas” star said she explained to her WWE superstar spouse that she “can’t live my life based on fear.”
Brie also convinced her twin, Nikki, and her family — fiancé Artem Chigvintsev and their 3-month-old son, Matteo — to relocate.
New episodes of “Total Bellas” air Thursday nights at 9/8c on E!
