Chris Cuomo's Wife Tests Positive, But Celebrities Have Otherwise Flattened the Curve
Good morning. It is ... Thursday? April 16th, 2020. You guys notice that we're not getting a lot of reports of celebrities becoming newly infected anymore? That's because they're rich! They can afford to social distance. They can hunker down in their enormous houses, and they don't work in healthcare, and they don't live in nursing homes, so I wouldn't expect to see that many more positive infections in the near term, although it's probably still going to hurt working journalists and their families.
To wit: Though Chris Cuomo is on the mend, his wife Cristina has unfortunately contracted the virus.

"She is now positive and it just breaks my heart. It is the one thing I was hoping wouldn't happen and now it has." The hopeful news is that she cannot smell or taste, which is a symptom that has anecdotally been associated with milder cases.
Another journalist, George Stephanopoulos, also tested positive, though he had little to no symptoms. His wife, Ali Wentworth, went through the wringer for two weeks with it, although she has now recovered and is out of quarantine.

It is worth noting, too, that Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba (and his wife), Andy Cohen, Kristofer Hivju and his wife have also recovered.

Celebrities are doing their part to flatten the curve (because they can).
