Mary Lambert, director of the 1989 adaptation of Pet Sematary, had noted late last year that she was working with Paramount to restore the film, so we assumed that a 4K Ultra HD release was coming in time for the new adaptation in April. And indeed Diabolik now lists Pet Sematary on 4K Ultra HD for pre-order in their shop, releasing March 26!

Amazon, at this time, is only listing a new Pet Sematary 30th Anniversary Blu-ray for release on that day, but we can only assume the 4K version will be added very soon.

Diabolik doesn’t yet list the special features for the 4K Ultra HD release, but Zoom‘s listing for the UK’s version of the release does seem to suggest what we’ll be getting in the US…
