Not long ago, The Grey director Joe Carnahan had been attached to adapt the graphic novel Undying Love, but those plans fell through and Deadline now reports today that David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2) has taken over the project. Leitch will direct a script penned by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) for Studio 8!

The limited comic series was created by Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman. The first issue was published in 2011 by Image Comics, and it was followed by just three more.

Alexandre Aja (High Tension) had also been attached to direct at one point.

Kelly McCormick and Stephen L’Heureux produce, with Jeff Robinov exec producing.
