Lil Wayne  Is Suing His Ex-Lawyer For Allegedly Cheating Him Out Of Money

Lil Wayne is suing his former attorney, Ronald Sweeney, for allegedly swindling him out of $20 million while he represented the musician, according to reports from TMZ.

Sweeney acted as the rapper’s lawyer from 2005 all the way through September of 2018 and charged him 10 percent for every deal he closed–which Wayne argues is well beyond the industry standard of 5 percent. But in addition to charging Wayne for his services, Sweeney allegedly tried to squeeze more money out of the deal by seeking an additional 10 percent for all profits netted by his Young Money label. Luckily for Wayne, he prevented that from actually happening.

Beyond that, the lawyer managed to pull even more money out of Wayne’s pockets by enlisting the help of another law firm for the ongoing legal battles with Birdman and Cash Money Records along with Universal Music Group. Said firm allegedly took a whopping 23 percent from the settlement with Cash Money, and 15 percent from the latter settlement. Those percentages were added onto the 10 percent Sweeney was already expected to receive. Definitely seems like a a lot of money being moved around.

Initial reports regarding Wayne’s resolution with his label indicated that Universal cut a check for “well over $10 million,” but that amount has never actually been confirmed. “A portion of the information released today is true, a settlement has been reached, but the dollar amount being disclosed is false,” Karen Civil wrote in response to reports of the settlement.

“Per our settlement agreement, the matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of all parties,” Sweeney commented at the time. “In terms of the particulars, we’re prohibited legally from saying anything further. I can say that my client is happy. He is his own man, a man that owns his assets, his music and himself. At some point, Wayne will let his fans know what’s going to happen next.”

Tyga Dating Kylie Jenner’s Friend?

According to the Daily Mail, Tyga was spotted with Australian Instagram model, and Kardashian family friend Tammy Hembrow.

Tammy, a single mother of 2, was seen backstage cheering for Tyga at Rolling Loud Australia in Sydney on Sunday. According to witnesses, “Tammy spent all night backstage (or on the side of the stage) as if she was his girlfriend.” After Rolling Loud, she was spotted with Tyga for a second time, this time at a show in Brisbane.

“They traveled up to Brisbane separately and hooked up again later on,’ the insider claimed. ‘She’s basically doing his whole Australian tour with him.’

This is rumored romance is especially spicy since Tammy is a model for Khloe’s Good American company.

Hembrow is also cool with Kendall and Kylie, attending Kendall’s birthday bash. In August 2018, She was pictured being carried out of Kylie’s 21st birthday party in West Hollywood face-down on a stretcher, making headlines over it.

With tickets officially on sale, IMAX revealed today exclusive artwork for the film that will present nearly half the film with up to 26% more picture. The below video previews the expended ratio.

He’s One Of A Few Tragedy’s Related To The Polar Vortex

To all our people in the Midwest, we hold you in our spirit.

The weather out there is no joke. 

According to People, 18-year-old University of Iowa student Gerald Belz was found unresponsive outside a campus building around 3 a.m. local time on Wednesday.

The temperatures were below zero…

Negative 51 degrees to be exact.

Belz, who was in his second semester at the university, was eventually taken to a hospital were he unfortunately died.

There is no evidence of any substance abuse. According to an interview with Belz’s family for KGAN, doctors confirmed that the college teen didn’t have any alcohol in his system at the time he was found. Though the investigation is ongoing, officials think Belz’s death was due to extreme weather conditions.

The wind chill at the time university officers found Belz was -51 degrees Fahrenheit, says the National Weather Service.

The Midwest, from the Dakotas to Western New York is experiencing some of the most frigid temperatures the region has witnessed in two decades, according to The Weather Channel. On Wednesday morning, the temperature was -23 degrees Fahrenheit in Chicago while temperatures reached -30 in Wisconsin. The polar vortex has even reached the east coast with temperatures reaching the single digits in New York early Thursday morning.

The offensively cold weather shouldn’t be taken lightly, considering eight weather-related deaths have already happened in the U.S. as of Thursday morning, according to The New York Times.

The National Weather Service in Des Moines, Iowa warned against breathing in the cold air and suggested keeping your mouth covered to protect your lungs. “Avoid taking deep breaths; minimize talking,” they said, according to USA Today. “This is the coldest air many of us will have ever experienced. It’s not a case of ‘Meh, it’s Iowa during winter and this cold happens.’ These are record-breaking cold air temperatures, with wind chill values not seen in the 21st century in Iowa.”

Smh.
