Travis Scott deletes Instagram after being trolled over Halloween costume

November 02, 2020

Travis Scott mysteriously deleted his Instagram account over the weekend, and fans are speculating he went off the grid because of mean comments about his Halloween costume.

The “Sicko Mode” rapper revealed in a now-deleted post on Instagram on Saturday that he dressed up as Batman, but the costume was in a dark brown color instead of the traditional black hue. He also flaunted a matching cars painted in matte brown.

On Twitter, many users poked fun at Scott’s take on the superhero, saying he resembled more of an insect like a “cockroach” or “flea.”

“Travis scott looking like the flea from mucha lucha in that costume lmaoo,” one person tweeted.

Another wrote on Instagram, “Dude was the wuhan bat.”

Prior to deleting his account, Scott, 29, shared a short video of himself as Bruce Wayne walking up to his Batman costume and matching Louis Vuitton luggage. The clip was reposted by Worldstar.

“This is the video that got him bullied off Instagram,” one user commented.

However, social media trolls did not stop Scott from celebrating Halloween. He was spotted attending Kendall Jenner’s 25th birthday party, in which she was slammed for inviting 100 people to the bash amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

A rep for Scott did not immediately return our request for comment.
