Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is ready for his birthday close-up.
On Wednesday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their son’s first birthday with a sweet new video on Save the Children’s UK Instagram page, as the Duchess of Sussex reads the book “Duck!” Rabbit!” to Archie.
“For Save with Stories, we’re going to read, ‘Duck! Rabbit!’” Meghan said with the birthday boy sitting in her lap, promoting the nonprofit’s campaign aimed at supporting children affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
In the nearly three-minute clip shot by Harry, Meghan is filmed reading the children’s book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal — which is Archie’s favorite book — as Archie watches on. As the mother-son duo conclude the book, 35-year-old Harry chimes in, “Bravo!”
Meghan and Harry, who are currently house-hunting in Los Angeles, teamed with Save the Children UK as part of the nonprofit’s Save with Stories endeavor.
The Sussexes, who quit the royal family earlier this year, fled to southern California from Canada in March amid the pandemic. The couple is “quietly looking at mansions in the $15 million to $20 million range that are both beautiful and secluded, offering the privacy they need,” a source previously told The Post.
