Variety has spun its annual Power of Women event this year into a special, “Power of Women: Frontline Heroes,” to celebrate the “women serving on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Cate Blanchett, Patti LuPone and Janelle Monáe will be honored during the program on Lifetime and Facebook, June 9, with Robin Roberts hosting. Past ‘Power Women’ Helen Mirren, Natalie Portman, Tiffany Haddish, Gigi Hadid and Priyanka Chopra will also appear.
