HBO Max continues to host high-profile stay-at-home premieres of new programming during the pandemic.
Last week, the network delivered invitees dinner for two from LA hot spot Mozza plus wine, booze and games for the debut of its Anna Kendrick series “Love Life.”
The service went live on Wednesday, and HBO hosted another glitzy cyber event for its underground-ballroom dance-competition series, “Legendary.”
There was even an after-party featuring the show’s vogueing contestants, plus judges Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach, Jameela Jamil and Leiomy Maldonado. Virtual guests received a “slay box,” with swag such as glittery nail polish.
HBO Max was meant to debut with a “Friends” reunion, which has been postponed.
