‘Billions’ cast weathered New Paltz fender-bender while filming in December

During the filming of last Sunday’s episode of “Billions,” some of the cast were in a fender bender in a snowstorm.

The Showtime hit was filming at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY, back in December when a charter bus carrying extras from the resort to the actors’ accommodations reportedly stopped to help a motorist, then was “clipped” by a vehicle and slid into a ditch on a Hudson Valley road.

But “there were minimal injuries,” Eric Gullickson, president of the luxury hotel, tells us. “We made the choice to send some of our crew to go rescue [the actors].”

We’re told some extras got to spend a night at Mohonk, but others were driven back to their hotel in Mohonk’s SUVs after the storm passed.

“It was quite a dramatic night — but all in all everybody faired well,” he said.
