Two years before he changed the game with Scream, Wes Craven predated his own genius with meta masterpiece New Nightmare, a bold new take on the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise that introduced the “real” Freddy Krueger, a demon in pursuit of franchise star Heather Langenkamp. Just teased by NECA, New Nightmare Freddy soon joins their retro line!

We don’t have any details at this time, but it’s clear that the retro-style figure will feature an alternate “Demon Freddy” head, and it’ll measure 8″ with real fabric clothing.
