It’s a Bachelorette season unlike anything we’ve seen before.
For the first time ever, the show will feature two leads for an entire season.
Some say it’s sexist, others believe it’s a mistake for logistical reasons.
But for better or worse, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia will be sharing Bachelorette duties right up to the moment they hand out their final roses.
Now that we’ve met the suitors, and Rachel and Gabby have handed out their first roses, it’s time to dive into this season’s spoilers, which come to us, as always, from the spoiler king himself, Reality Steve.
If you want to be surprised by the outcome of this season of The Bachelorette, consider this your final warning, as spoilers lie ahead.
Last week, we revealed the eight contestants who made it to the hometown round.
At first, Steve revealed three of Gabby’s final four, and he later added Justin Budfuloski as the fourth lucky guy.
(The cities and dates in parentheses are the places and times that Gabby filmed her hometown dates.)
So the final four consisted of Justin, Erich Schwer, Jason Alabaster, and Johnny DePhillipo.
And now we know that Erich and Jason made it past the first round of eliminations.
Jason’s bio describes him as a 30-year-old investment banker from Memphis, Tennessee.
We haven’t seen much of him this season, but upon his arrival at the mansion, he joked that he’s in love with three women: his mother, his sister and his dog.
As for Erich (right), he’s a 29-year-old real estate analyst from New Jersey who seemed to hit it off with both women when he asked them to help him tie his tie.
He and Gabby kissed later in the night, and it seems that Erich made quite a lasting impression.
As for Rachel’s final four, her list is made up of (drum roll, please):
Aven Jones, Tyler Norris, Zach Shallcross, and Tino Franco.
It’s a solid group, but in the end, it will need to be brutally whittled down.
And it seems that after hometown dates, Rachel decided to stick with Tino and Zach as her top two contestants.
Tino is a 28-year-old general contractor from California who made an immediate impression on Rachel when he arrived to the mansion driving a forklift.
“He’s my type,” Rachel remarked to Gabby shortly after Tino introduced himself.
Rachel and Tino later shared the first kiss of the season, and he received her first impression rose.
As for Zach Shallcross (right), he’s a 25-year-old tech executive from California.
Shallcross was the first suitor to exit the limos and introduce himself this season.
As Bachelorette historians have pointed out, the first guy to walk the red carpet usually winds up going quite far in the competition, and it seems that Zach is no exception.
Zach didn’t receive any one-on-one time with either of the ladies on his first night in the house, but fortunately for him, Gabby and Rachel decided to skip their first rose ceremony.
We haven’t seen a whole lot from Zach thus far, but we’re sure that will change.
So there you have it.
Those are the four men who will be competing for Gabby and Rachel’s hearts at the end of the season.
And thankfully, despite earlier concerns, there’s no overlap between the two lists.
