Adele Is Gracing Us All With New Music Once More

Adele slaying it on stage

Most of us were just minding our own business, scrolling through the internet, when suddenly Adele decided to gift us all some new music. The singer who constantly brings us tears with her work, from “Rolling in the Deep” to the entirety of 25, is back, and this time, we know we’re about to all lock ourselves in our rooms and cry our way through the fall.

Adele is a special kind of singer. She’s the one who will get us through the tough times and sing straight to our souls even though we’ve never even met her. And this new album, fresh from her divorce, is sure to give us the emotional journey we’ve been waiting for. Posted on her social media, the 20-second clip for her new song “Easy On Me” shows Adele driving with her song blowing through the wind, and while we barely get 10 seconds of the song, it is enough for us all.

Twitter shared its excitement over new Adele in the way we love to do—mainly because we just all have an emotional connection to the singer.

October 15th is about to be a GREAT day. And what perfect timing! Who doesn’t want to lock themselves in their homes during the fall and take a bath and cry to Adele? It sounds like the perfect kind of fall experience, and we have Adele to thank for that. In all seriousness, Adele is the kind of performer who shares incredibly personal songs, but those songs resonate with all of us, and so to have her back after nearly six years without a new Adele song? That’s something special.

“Easy On Me” isn’t going to be easy on me, is it? I’m just going to cry a bunch to new Adele, and that’s fine.
